In 1993, the Central Rocky Mountain region bought Heart of the Rockies Christian Church 11 acres to construct a building. But the congregation knew this land was meant to serve the community, not just church members. 30 years later, it's now the site of a proposed development that will offer affordable housing and childcare to low-income residents and adults with disabilities, thanks to partnerships with faith-based organizations such as Disciples Church Extension Fund.

Applications are now being accepted for the Woman-to-Woman Worldwide Journey to East Asia in September 2023. This year, Disciples Women will travel to Japan and South Korea to engage in intersections of political, cultural, relational, and ecclesial notions of peace and how they affect women in Japan and South Korea. The deadline to submit an application is March 20th.
