"This was my third trip to NM and my second time filling my tag. The greatest highlight of the trip wasn’t notching my tag but being front and center watching my cousin shoot his first bull elk. It’s a memory i will remember forever. The outfitter runs a good operation. The lodge was in good condition and is close to the area of the hunt. The terrain wasn’t terribly demanding but not easy.
There were plenty of elk on the ranch." NEW MEXICO #90
"I have been to Africa 4 times and this was the most enjoyable trip to date. My wife also enjoyed the entire trip and is excited about going back. If all goes well, I will rebook in 2025. For the money this hunt cannot be beat!" SOUTH AFRICA #61

AFFORDABLE LUXURY SAFARI- A HUNT-NATION FAVORITE
| |

If you're wondering where Hunt Nation Consultants hunt in Africa, this is one of those places. Hunt Nation owner Ed Manasse took his family here in July as did our Agent Brian with his family and friends.
A lot of people feel that they could never afford an African Safari. But for the cost of an average western guided U.S elk hunt you can go to the dark continent and shoot 4 to 6 animals. This is an excellent opportunity for the first timer or anyone who just wants to go to South Africa at an amazing value.
7 DAYS/8 NIGHTS, 1 HUNTER, 1 FREE OBSERVER, 1x1 HUNT, 4 ANIMALS ONLY $2,600
The staff is always ready to serve your every need – hunt all day, or if you are lucky and shot your game before noon and want to relax by the pool, this is totally up to you. Said one well-traveled hunter: “Butch, this place is just too nice for hunters! Like staying on a luxury cruise ship. I give it excellent in every single category from guides to game to lodging and meals!” Tom M.
Their own private 10,000-acre game reserve is the starting point of your hunt, and is located in the middle of the beautiful Waterberg Mountains in the Limpopo Region. In all they hunt 500,000 acres consisting of numerous ranches and parcels. The area is scenic, and is considered to be a malaria-free area. Over the last 20 years, the outfitter’s efforts have transformed this area into a superb wildlife reserve containing three of South Africa’s most luxurious lodges.

ARIZONA #29
TROPHY MOUNTAIN LIONS
| |
|
Now booking for 2024/2025 season.
This is one of the absolute best houndsman we know of. He is known far and wide as one of the best breeders and cat hound trainers in the West, and he has been doing it for nearly 30 years. His dogs do extremely well on bare ground, given any reasonable set of conditions. In snow, they are superb. Lion hunts are totally dependent on the quality of the dogs! He also has experienced hunting guides, although he conducts most of his hunts himself.
We have been using this outfit for a number of years, and over that time his success has hovered around 95%+, which is about as good as can ever be expected, since bad weather can shut the hunt down. This is an awesome average for wild lions in rough terrain. You are hunting near the famed Kaibab in northern Arizona, in some awesome canyon and mountain country with views that will not quit.

NEW MEXICO #90
DISCOUNTED LAST MINUTE BULL ELK
| |
|
We book more elk hunts than anything else, and this is our most popular elk hunt! This northwest New Mexico (around Chama) outfitter has been featured on numerous television shows with many well-known hunting celebrities. We have sent countless clients to him over the 15+ years we’ve been working with him, with very high success. He is one of our absolute favorites, with a reputation for honesty, hard work and producing elk. This is a high-success hunt for 5x5 and 6x6 bulls. Most will be 270”-290”, with a few 300+”. Most are solid mature bulls, but every year is different, usually due to moisture.
Many of the ranches this outfitter hunts are lower-lying private ground with areas of parks and meadows, scattered water tanks, and conifers, making for fairly easy terrain for those of us who can’t quite climb the way we once could. But he has properties on a few different migration corridors, and bit of snow can make for a really great hunt as the elk start moving and “fresh” bulls wander onto these ranches. In fact, they sometimes take some of their biggest bulls of the year on their late-season hunts.

IDAHO #103
SPRING & FALL BLACK BEAR
| |
|
This excellent outfitter has been in business for almost 40 years and has been featured many times on numerous big name TV hunting shows. We have worked with them for many years, and we have personally hunted with them several times. These guys have been hunting bears over baits since 1979, so they know how to produce trophies for their clients. Success is close to 100%, and they produce about 30% color phase bears. Average size is 5.5’-6.5’, with some 7-footers.
Hunts take place in the Selway-Bitterroot Wilderness area, along the Lochsa River. This area is so vast and has such a high bear population that you can take 2 bears on some hunts. Hunts are over bait, from treestands and ground blinds, which you will access by vehicle, on foot, by horseback, or even across the river by raft. This is an any-weapon hunt, so one bear can be taken with a rifle and next with a bow, or even a pistol.

SOUTH DAKOTA #101
FILL YOUR FREEZER - BISON HUNTS - TROPHY OR MEAT
| |
|
This outfitter provides one of the more challenging bison hunts in the country, we believe. These bison run on 7,000 acres of rolling hills, canyons and prairie, much like their ancestors did, and the fencing is just 4- and 5-strand barbed wire (rather than high game-proof fenced), so trophy bulls should be eligible for inclusion in the North America 29 Super Slam, as well as SCI. They are about 500 in number and you will need to stalk them. You pick the size of animal you wish to hunt, and you can use archery, black powder, rifle, or pistol. Whatever your weapon of choice, you will earn your trophy – you are not shooting fish in a barrel here. Of course, bison are a plains animal, normally quite visible, so please bear that in mind. Multiple stalks are often needed.
The hunts are conducted from mid-December to the end of February when the hides are in the best condition (there is no difference in the quality of the hunting or the hides from the start to the end of that time). He usually allows you two days, but will give you a third day if needed, which we like a bunch. Success is 100%, and the outfitter will not let you leave without your bison trophy.
Included: Meals and lodging, Guiding, Photo set up, Aberdeen, SD airport pick up/drop off, Field prep, and delivery to processer (processing generally takes up to 2 days)
Processing by their professional butcher runs between $400 and $900 depending upon the size of the bison.

MEXICO #280
DESERT BIGHORN SHEEP AND MULE DEER
| |
|
You may never see this again! Free Range Desert Bighorn Sheep with $20,000 refunded if no sheep is harvested or wounded. Desert Mule deer $4,500 harvest fee included in the hunt price.
For most of us, a desert sheep hunt represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and if you cannot draw a tag in the American southwest, a guided hunt in Mexico may be the only way to experience this hunt. Conducted on numerous large ranches spanning more than 80,000 acres, this outfitter offers one of the best free-range options with guaranteed opportunity (up to three missed shots) on desert sheep hunts. Dates are flexible, so clients can fly to Tucson for pickup after a good ram has been found. Rams will score from 160 and larger, with some exceptional trophies taken in recent years.
Mule deer hunters will enjoy an average size of 170"+, with realistic potential of giant bucks if luck and patience pay off, and it is no surprise this destination has one of our highest return rates of any hunt that we offer. Hunt Nation has personally hunted here many times, and the owners/operators are some of the best people you can find south of the border

TEXAS #172
SANDHILL CRANE, GOOSE, DOVE AND MULE DEER
| |
|
For those looking to challenge your waterfowling desires, look no further than hunting sandhill cranes. Not only are these birds the best waterfowl to hit the dinner table, commonly referred to as ribeye of the sky, but cranes are very fun birds to hunt and look like lawn chairs falling off a roof when you fold them up over the decoys. Sandhill Cranes are very wary birds. Perfect concealment and decoy placement are a must to fool these birds. When everything is set up just right you will experience some of the most exciting waterfowl hunting there is to be had. They stand 3-4 feet tall and have wingspans approaching 7 feet.
Sandhill Cranes are protected in many states and in others a draw permit is required to harvest one bird. In Texas these birds are abundant and you are allowed a daily limit of 3 with 9 in possession. Hunt Nation agents Eddie Deuser and John Pomazi visited this operation for a two-day hunt in January of 2024. Even with nasty windy weather on day one they were both able to take 2 birds. On day 2 with optimal weather conditions they limited out by 9:30. Located about an hour from Lubbock Texas this outfitter has access to over 30,000 acres of prime Sandhill Crane habitat spread out over 4 counties and located in peanut fields and other various crops. The diverse terrains offer a variety of hunting experiences that cater to different game and skill levels. While you are hunting other guides are scouting out the best locations for tomorrow’s hunt.
