Don’t you love how fiction can resonate with each one of us, regardless of what our journey has been? It is a great reminder of how we are much more alike than we are different, isn’t it? As much as our experiences vary, we share so much in common!

I highly recommend this wonderful story by Kristen Harmel. She is such a beautiful writer, and she is so talented at weaving a tale that encompasses so much of actual history while giving us something we can enjoy reading. I was never a good history student in school, but I love learning about it this way.

I love that my sweet dad is in this video behind me. We lost him in January. He looks so good in this video, just how I will always remember him.
