Earlier this month, we took a quick break from reviewing applications and went on a few surprise high school visits in our Long Island backyard. It was a wonderful way to honor National School Counseling Week! See below for our photo op with Paul D. Schreiber High School in Port Washington. “I found the course very challenging, but Professor Erogul made it fun and engaging. He was supportive and approachable in every way. I was able to develop a business plan along with a team of other students and we presented it at the end of the course. It created the momentum I needed to get started on the business track."

“My Pre-College psychology experience was really great! It helped me get used to living on a college campus. I still talk to the friends I made in those two weeks. We became a really close-knit group. I also got college credits, which really helped me out, and I learned a lot from Professor Feeley, who is now my academic adviser. "

New Program Spotlight: Five-Year Business of Science
The only one of its kind in New York state, Adelphi's exciting new five-year Accelerated Business of Science Program is designed to give students with a passion for science a strong, marketable career path in science-related businesses. Students major in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, computer science or mathematics—and in the program's fifth year, they develop and sharpen their practical business skills and strategies as they complete an M.B.A. This combination can fast-track students' careers.
