The largest boat and yacht show in the world is sailing back to Miami Beach! For the first time since 2018, yachts will return to Collins Avenue over the long President’s Day weekend when the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show docks in Miami Beach for its 85th installment.

The Miami Beach Convention Center and nearby Pride Park will serve as the epicenter of the event from Wednesday, February 11 through Sunday, February 15 featuring sales and new vessel debuts up to 49 feet. It’s also where attendees will find engine manufacturers, marine accessories, electronics and retail pavilions. 

Across the street from the Convention Center, the Progressive Experience at Pride Park will host interactive activations, entertainment and boater education for all experience levels while also serving as a central hub for free shuttles, golf carts and rideshare vehicles.

The Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue, between 44 and 47 streets, will be the new waterfront home to powerboats and motor yachts from 30 to 125 feet as well as yacht tenders, engines, accessories and premium retail experiences.

Resident Discount

Tickets for the 2026 Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show are now on sale at www.MiamiBoatShow.com. All tickets must be purchased online and will include full access to each location. As a thank you to the community, organizers are offering a 15% discount for Miami Beach residents on a 1-Day General Admission pass. Residents can use the promo code: MIAMIBCHRES26 when purchasing tickets.

A portion of ticket proceeds will go to the Miami Cupid Splash, a nonprofit organization that raises awareness and funds for conservation through an annual polar plunge event on Miami Beach. Additionally, the show will provide a $250,000 annual contribution to support public benefits and community initiatives in Miami Beach.

Traffic Advisory

City of Miami Beach officials have worked closely with show organizers to limit traffic disruptions, improve traffic flow and create more intuitive connections between the event locations through a comprehensive mobility plan. There will be no lane closures on Collins Avenue as in years past.

Beginning Monday, February 2, load-in activities will impact Collins Avenue. Activities are restricted during peak traffic hours, but commuters will experience forklifts crossing the road with police escorts between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m.

Boat show attendance is expected to increase congestion during show hours around the Miami Beach Convention Center, on Collins Avenue adjacent to the Miami Beach Yacht Collection and throughout the surrounding area. Please expect slow moving traffic on major roadways, including both the Julia Tuttle and MacArthur causeways.

Show hours are from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, February 12 through Saturday, February 14, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, February 15.

City staff will be available to monitor traffic flows, provide timely traffic updates, modify traffic signal timing as necessary to help manage congestion, and disseminate information on major traffic incidents throughout the city. The city will deploy signage and traffic diversion measures to deter cut-through traffic in single family neighborhoods.

Closures

The following roads adjacent to the Miami Beach Convention Center are closed starting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, February 3 and will reopen at 6 p.m. on Thursday, February 19:

• Convention Center Drive from 18 Street to Dade Boulevard.
• The eastern portion of 19 Street between Meridian Avenue and Convention Center Drive.

Boat Show Shuttle Service & Parking

Ticketed boat show attendees enjoy complimentary shuttle service between all three show locations. Boat show shuttle routes will begin an hour before and end an hour after the show. The show will be operating five shuttle routes, including two from/to Brightline Station with Watson Island serving as a transfer hub.

If you plan on traveling by car, there is a parking garage at the Miami Beach Convention Center located at 1901 Convention Center Drive that will charge a flat rate of $20 per day.

Self-parking is also available at IGY Yacht Haven Marina (838 MacArthur Causeway) for $25 per day, with free shuttle service directly to the Miami Beach Yacht Collection on Collins Avenue and the Miami Beach Convention Center. There are also other municipal parking garages near the Convention Center at the following locations:

• 640 17 Street - $2 per hour
• 340 23 Street - $15 per day
• 1661 Pennsylvania Avenue - $15 per day
• 1755 Meridian Avenue - $15 per day on weekends/$2 per hour on weekdays

Free Citywide Trolley

When exploring Miami Beach, the free citywide trolley service provides a reliable transportation alternative—improving mobility and quality of life for residents and visitors alike.

The free citywide trolley service currently operates 15 hours a day, from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m., seven days a week at approximately 20-minute average service frequency along each route.

Free Water Taxi

Show attendees arriving from mainland Miami may opt to arrive via the City of Miami Beach’s free water taxi, which operates between the Venetian Marina in downtown Miami and Maurice Gibb Park in Miami Beach. Visit www.miamibeachfl.gov/water-taxi for a schedule and other details.

East Venetian Causeway Drawbridge

Due to the increase of traffic expected during the Discover Boating Miami International Boat Show, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the United States Coast Guard have authorized Miami-Dade County to temporarily deviate from regular drawbridge operations on the East Venetian Causeway Bridge.

During this time, the East Venetian Causeway Bridge will remain locked down between the hours of:

• 3 PM - 8 PM | February 11 - February 13, 2026
• 3 PM - 7 PM | February 14 - February 15, 2026

63 Street Drawbridge

The 63 Street Bridge will operate as follows from 7 a.m. on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 through 7 a.m. on Thursday, February 19, 2026:

• Each day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., except Federal holidays, the draw need open only on the hour and half-hour;
• From 7:10 a.m. to 9:55 a.m. and 4:05 p.m. to 6:59 p.m., Monday through Friday, the draw need not open for the passage of vessels;
• Each day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the draw need only open for the 10 minutes at the top of each hour.

Public vessels of the United States and vessels in distress will be allowed to pass at any time via the aforementioned drawbridges.

Construction Moratorium

To provide the public with an experience free of impacts from roadway and lane

closures, the city’s Public Works Department is implementing a citywide moratorium on construction work and staging within the public right-of-way. The moratorium will be in effect starting at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, February 9 until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, February 15.

The city will suspend all construction-related activities within the public right-of-way. No lane or road closures will be permitted, except for any work related to city projects, approved emergency repairs or pre-approved projects where closures are required to maintain public safety.
