3 Dots is opening in June and the possibilities are endless! 3 Dots is a unique space like none other designed to enhance one’s artistic experience. The space supports all local talent, like art, performance, food and music, creating a hub for creativity and possibilities. So if you want to display your art, perform your music, or share your food you can with 3 Dots. As an artist this space gives you the opportunity to present your art. Ice Cream Fest

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice Cream Fest! Come downtown and sample some of the best ice cream that State College has to offer on June 1st! This years annual event benefits  Schlow Centre Region Library  and  Discovery Space of Central Pennsylvania and is hosted by the  State College Downtown Rotary Club .
First Friday
June 7th
5-8 pm
Experience the cool vibe of Downtown State College during our monthly First Friday events . A casual atmosphere features art, people-watching, mingling with friends, shopping, and dining at the diverse and delectable State College restaurants. First Friday goers will experience after-hours access to galleries and shops, free bites and beverages, live music and entertainment, retail and restaurant specials, and more. And there’s free parking in the Pugh, Fraser and Beaver garages with validations from participating merchants!
Central PA Theatre and Dance Fest

The Central PA Theatre and Dance Fest showcases the Centre region’s vibrant professional and pre-professional theatre, dance, and other performing arts groups through one immersive weekend each summer. The Fest invites both local residents and visitors alike to experience State College as a thriving destination for the performing arts. Enjoy groundbreaking performances from local and national artists, learn a new skill at a workshop, and take in all our community has to offer.

Buy fresh, buy local...and join us for the  Downtown State College Farmers Market  every Tuesday and Friday from 11:30-5:30!  During your visit you will find dozens of local fruit and veggie farmers; local cheeses, meats, and eggs; flowers, herbs, plants and soaps; delicious ready-to-eat baked goods, jams, honey, and lots more! See you on the 100 block of Locust Lane!

Parking Downtown - What you need to know...
  • Parking is free everywhere on Sundays from 6am-10pm...with the exception of event weekends.

  • Street meters and parking lots are enforced from 10am-10pm Monday-Saturday.

  • Park in the Fraser Street, Pugh Street, or Beaver Avenue parking garages to take advantage of the Merchant Validated Parking (MVP) program...over 50 downtown businesses offer parking validations good for up to three hours of parking at any of these garages with qualified purchase! Just look for the MVP logo at participating businesses. And always ask if you don't see the logo!

  • Park Mobile and EZ Passes are options for your convenience.
