Our Winter Monster Book Cover

Spinetinglers Horror Book Club

The Spinetinglers Book Club meets on the third Tuesday of each month for discussion of a different horror book.

This month's selection is Our Winter Monster by Dennis Mahoney.

Holly and Brian race through a blizzard, hoping a ski-village getaway will mend their strained relationship, until they lose control of the car and each other. Something monstrous stalks them in the storm, leaving wreckage and echoing a trauma from last winter. With Sheriff Kendra Book on their trail, Holly and Brian’s only hope is surviving the night together—if the storm and the monster don’t claim them first.

The Gathering of the Bookalos

Want to carve out time to read but don't want the pressure to finish and discuss a specific book? Want to learn what others are reading and low-key socialize? It sounds to us like you may be a Bookalo!

The Gathering of the Bookalos is an off-site BYOBook Silent Book Club. There is no assigned reading, you just bring whatever book in whatever format you'd like and read it quietly alongside others who are doing the same thing. That's it. It's a time dedicated to quiet reading, learning about what others are reading, and hanging with folks out in the community.

Registration is suggested!
