TPF is Growing our Team

The Tacoma Parks Foundation is growing our team for more significant impact in our community. We are thrilled to announce the two newest members, Erin Hill and Claire Williams.

Erin Hill she/her

Associate Director of Foundation & Community Philanthropy

Erin is a nonprofit professional with a background in fundraising, communications, and community engagement. She’s worked primarily in the education and arts sectors, helping connect humans with the resources and information they need to thrive. Originally from North Carolina, she occasionally misses the Blue Ridge Mountains and soul food, but never the humidity. Her favorite hobby is picking up new hobbies, but a few constants remain: devouring science fiction (shoutout to Octavia Butler), and believing that pad see ew can be a daily source of joy. She’s excited to join the Tacoma Parks Foundation community and looks forward to partnering with others to connect more folks to the outdoors and the incredible work of TPF.

Claire Williams they/them

Administrative Specialist

A Peer Counselor with an extensive administrative background ranging from nonprofit, corporate, medical, legal, and more, Claire is excited to bring their wide-ranging experience to join the TPF team in cultivating an equitable, connected, and thriving Tacoma.

Claire is delighted to call Washington home after nearly ten years in the PNW, more than half of those living in Tacoma. They spend their free time wandering the woods, taking in the area music scene, and when they remember to water their extensive houseplant collection.

TPF Welcomes New Board Member

The Tacoma Parks Foundation is expanding its capacity by recruiting new board members from different sectors, geographic representation in Tacoma, race, ethnicity, and industry knowledge. Please join us in welcoming our newest board member, Vincent Barron.
