VIP Tours & Conway Scenic Railroad, North Conway, New Hampshire

Commemorative celebrations are planned for this August in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, celebrating 150 years of the Conway Scenic Railroad and 60 years of the Crawford Notch route.

 

The Conway Scenic Railroad expanded its operating season and added more departures including on its most scenic Mountaineer excursion over Crawford Notch. This popular trip will now run twice a day, Tuesday through Sunday, during the summer season with up to three trains a day during the autumn peak season.

 

The shorter Valley Train option has also expanded its season. This one-hour, round trip, heritage journey is ideal for families with small children and anyone seeking to experience railroad travel as it was in the mid-20th century.
