Dear Colleagues and Tourism Partners,

This has been a very busy summer! New England’s share of overseas visits to the U.S is stronger now than it was in 2019 and continues to grow. More airlines are returning to New England gateways and Discover New England is fielding an increasing number of media and tour operator requests. The focus over the summer has been to prepare New England’s hospitality industry for this growing demand with various roundtable discussions and virtual trainings as well as new tools such as a guide for working with international tour operators.

Looking ahead for this fall, Discover New England is planning additional trainings with overseas travel industry experts, will participate in Brand USA’s Travel Week in Frankfurt, Germany, and will be launching its Partner Program designed from a revamped strategic plan to position the region for continued growth.

We are moving full steam ahead and are looking forward to collaborating with partners throughout the region so stay tuned! In the meantime, here are a few news and announcements to keep you updated from this summer.

Wishing you the happiest of travels,

Michele Cota
