BIXOLON Expands BK Series with New Models and Factory Options for Enhanced Kiosk Printing

Listening to the wants and needs of the global market, BIXOLON is happy to announce the expansion of its successful BK Series of open-frame kiosk printer range with additional models and options designed to enhance performance and usability. Its option range now includes a Retractor, Bezel, and Presenter for both the BK3-31 Series and BK5-31 Series which offers greater flexibility for a wide range of kiosk applications.

New Additions to BK3-31 Series: 

• BK3-33: Supports easy drop-in paper loading for rolls with a diameter of up to

83 mm, enhancing user convenience.

• BK3-33/34: Enables eco-friendly receipting with a mechanical near-end sensor

designed for Blue Paper.

Options for BK3-31 Series and BK5-31 Series:

• (New) Retractor: Enhances print management by holding printed receipts until users retrieve them, by pulling back uncollected receipts, cutting and securely depositing

them into the kiosk to protect potentially confidential information. The presenter

function is a default feature supported by the retractor option. (BK5-31 Series:

Retractor option is provided for ticket printing only)

• Bezel: Provides a sleek, professional finish and offers a variety of options to

seamlessly integrate into various kiosk designs. The LED bezel enhances receipt

collection rates by using visual alerts to notify users of printed receipts.

• Presenter: Offers seamless print presentation, reducing paper jams and enhancing

user convenience, while improving printer’s durability. LED Bezel is a default for the

presenter option.

These factory options further reinforce BIXOLON's commitment to providing innovative and versatile printing solutions for the evolving kiosk market.
