Well this lovely energy for November is somewhat of a surprise as this year has felt like a lot of growth born out of inner work sparked by challenging developments and circumstances. Even now as we are experiencing intense retrograde energies from several planets at once, a time of material abundance and confidence approaching feels hard to believe. This card is telling me that all we have nurtured this year, lately, or in our lifetime up to this point, is coming to fruition even if we cannot envision it immediately.
9 of Pentacles in this deck feels like the pre-cursor to Temperance, the card of alchemy with the image (in Rider/Waite/Smith) of an Angel that has one foot on land and the other in a pond pouring water between 2 cups. This 9 of Pentacles features a woman dressed in white, like the Angel and a symbol of purity, new beginnings, surrounded by what looks like alchemical, energetic roots. Standing in a field of ferns and levitating a crystal or diamond between her hands. The image suggests the woman has acquired the ability to successfully care for herself in the physical realm which has created an energetic field of rootedness around her ultimately freeing her from relying on others for her comfort, safety and security. It also suggests she is able to access this field of “rootedness” to create favorable circumstances for whatever she desires to bring in. For some, this is literally working with plants and plant spirits for healing, both physical and energetic, or for manifestation.
In November Spirit is saying that individually we are coming into our true nature of abundance that we have been steadily nurturing for some time. This can be a time of harmony within ourselves as we observe how our commitment to inner work has led to real progress in the supportive structures of our physical world. This could show up as increased health, a better job, completing studies, upgrading your wardrobe or home, or prioritizing your relationship with Nature. The relationship with our inner knowing or Higher Self has reached a new level of trust. We will feel prepared to alchemize what we have been nurturing into something special because we carry the energy of Earth with us—transformation through slow, steady, grounded growth cycles.
