Irregular, Unscheduled Updates from Occoquan Mayor Earnie Porta
August 9, 2022

Discover Occoquan Coming Up!
Plan for our annual Discover Occoquan week of activities that kicks off this Saturday, August 13. This weekend will feature the start of the Scavenger Hunt Passport Event, the naming of our Town Hall Building for the late Mamie Davis and June Randolph, and our 14th annual Duck Splash race, the proceeds of which benefit the Occoquan 501(c)(3) organization Patriots for Disabled Divers. The following week we have the Taste of Occoquan, our monthly trivia night in River Mill Park, the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Hurricane Agnes, our inaugural cornhole tournament, a sip-and-stroll shop-late night, and a concert in River Mill Park. This is but a sampling -- there is something for everyone. We hope you can make it.
