Warmer days are finally here.
Well after a long winter it is nice to see that warmer days are here to stay.
We are truly lucky to live in this amazing area where not only we have great, friendly communities around but we also have so much to do and places to explore, from Tobermory to Parry Sound and the amazing Muskoka Lakes, the possibilities are endless.
A visit to the Grotto or boat ride past the Big Tub Lighthouse, a wonderful bike ride or walk on the Georgian Trail, or hiking Metcalfe Rock just to name a few.
It is also nice to see that many businesses are starting to reopen and the economy is stabilizing. Take a look at the Market Report below, I believe these are all signs that we are moving upwards and onwards.

While the market is still down in some areas compare to the same time a year ago, we did see an increase on the average price sold as well as an overall increase from last month.

Average price is up +13.3% to $591,352 for the month of May.

Engel & Völkers’ advisor, André Parisien, sold $36 million in real estate over just two days. One initiative, a virtual sales launch on May 9, resulted in the sale of 21 luxury units in Mont-Tremblant for a total of $12.7 million.

Canadian housing market bounces back in May in the first step to a long recovery

RBC Economics has noted increases in home resales in Canada of up to almost 70 percent in May. In a report, economist Robert Hogue noted that last month’s numbers signal the start of a slow market revival.

Poison ivy is a straggling or climbing woody vine that's well known for its ability to cause an itchy rash.
It grows on sandy, stony, or rocky shores, and sprouts in thickets, in clearings, and along the borders of woods and roadsides.
The leaves of poison ivy have three pointed leaflets. The middle leaflet has a much longer stalk than the two side ones. The leaflet edges can be smooth or toothed, but are rarely lobed. They are reddish when they appear in the spring, turn green during the summer, and become various shades of yellow, orange, or red in the fall.
