The last quarter of the year.
It is hard to believe that October is already here, but then again, one only needs to take a drive around to see the leaves changing colour, the mums starting to bloom, the air getting colder and the days getting shorter. Fall invites us to pull out the cozy blankets, pillows and throws and enjoy more evenings by the fire.
Not only do we get to marvel at the breathtaking colours of a changing season but we get to embrace the changes in our daily lives and traditions.
So we may have to get creative when it comes to Thanksgiving, perhaps a virtual gathering with friends and family showcasing different ways to cook the perfect turkey or make a green bean casserole using a secret family recipe or debating through a zoom call which is the best pie, apple or pumpkin. While Thanksgiving may not be the same, I hope you have many things to be thankful for.

September was a very strong month in our area. Average sales price continues to increase and in some areas it has hit record highs. Roughly two months ago the GTHS received a call about a tiny single kitten that urgently needed help. He was only a couple days old, with his eyes still closed and subsequently rushed into the care of one of their experienced foster volunteers Karen Milloy.
Bringing home bottle baby kittens is like bringing home a newborn. Bottle baby kittens require around the clock care so that they can have the opportunity to thrive and survive. They are so much work but they are so special and so loved.
