Living in Canada, we know it is bound to happen, the glorious, warm, sunny days must come to an end... but not yet. I hope that you are making the most out of these last few summer weeks.
If there is something I have learned is that time does not stop or slow down, and all we can do is make every moment count.
We know this year has been like no other, and that includes the real estate market in our area.
There is a huge demand for properties in South Georgian Bay, Grey Bruce and Muskoka, so this may be the right time for anyone who is considering selling or buying . Please make sure to check the Market Stats Report below.
Soon we will be talking about the first snowfall but until then, may you seize the day and enjoy the last bit of Summer.

The trend continues in this sellers market with people still looking to buy in the area, but with a lack of inventory properties are being sold rather quick.
CREA is still working on providing us with full stats as they are looking at 21 boards that have now merged their data into one central location. As soon as we get the detailed report for the Southern Georgian Bay Western District, which covers Wasaga Beach to Meaford, we will send them in a separate email to you.

For the Southern Georgian Bay area sales are up +73.8% for the month of August 2020 over the same month last year, and down -3.9% compared to July 2020.
Average price is up +33.3% to $666,849 for the month of August. New Listings are down -8.9%

I am very proud to introduce our newest licensed executive assistant Monica Alvarado.
Monica started her journey with our Brokerage 2 years ago overseeing the Business Development and Client Care Departments. A Tail From The Road: Willy & Juggy |
Willy (top) and Juggy (bottom) were part of a precious cargo, a group of cats and dogs that were transferred from Sault Ste. Marie looking for their forever home.
Unfortunately, Willy and Juggy had been hit by a car and had sustained painful and serious injuries. And while they are currently being assessed and cared for by the talented orthopedic surgery team at Thornbury Veterinary Hospital, we are hoping and praying for their full recovery.
It is thanks to donations to the GTHS that not only the trip up North was possible but they can help with some of the medical bills.
This is one more reason why I am committed to continue my support to the GTHS.
