The Power of Pals: A Partner Spotlight on PMP Pals

PMP Pals is a peer support organization dedicated to supporting patients diagnosed with appendix cancer and pseudomyxoma peritonei (PMP). And when facing a rare and complex cancer, sometimes the greatest support comes from someone who’s walked the same path. Meet Charmaine, a 28-year survivor and a Board member at PMP Pals, who uses her own experience to bring comfort, guidance, and hope to others navigating similar challenges. Her story is a powerful reminder that connection and empathy can be just as healing as medicine—showing us the true heart of the Pal's programs.
