The State of Women & Girls in STEM

Girls' and young women's achievement in mathematics and science is on par with that of boys and young men.

Created annually by National Girls Collaborative Project, this resource guide presents a high-level summary of the most compelling statistics and research on the state of girls and women in STEM, focused on K-12 Education, Higher Education, and the STEM Workforce.

On Monday, March 18, the new Afterschool and Summer Workforce Solutions Database was launched during the Workforce Summit at NAA24 Convention. This database was created to highlight solutions for combating workforce challenges facing afterschool and summer programs, from recruiting and retaining high-quality staff to building career pathways and supporting BIPOC leadership!
