"Americans can do ANYTHING." - Donald J Trump

How Trump Made The GOP Cool Again

Over the past couple of months, being a Republican in Denver has transformed from a social stigma to the hottest trend in town.

Donald Trump's repeated victories before his formal return to the White House highlight his strategic political prowess. His approach has not only drawn significant attention but has also earned accolades and piqued the interest of a notable segment of Democratic voters, showcasing his influence beyond traditional party lines.

His recent foreign policy wins are drawing particular acclaim. Over the past few days, Trump has tentatively secured a ceasefire in the Israeli-Gaza conflict, showcasing his significant strength in international diplomacy. Some speculate this could lead to the first of multiple Nobel Peace Prizes for the Republican President-Elect.

Trump's impact closer to home was evident when Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced his upcoming resignation, a decision many saw as influenced by the looming presence of America First economic policies. Trump's political nominees have navigated the vetting process with surprising ease, indicating strong backing in Washington, DC. Even those who did not vote for Trump are curious about how the new administration's economic and immigration policies will affect them.

I’ve been trying to figure out why I’m more optimistic now than I was before the election, even though I was so against the guy who won,

 - Cenk Uygur, Progressive media personality & founder of The Young Turks.

In contrast, the Democratic Party has been grappling with significant internal challenges and facing a series of self-inflicted wounds. The 2024 election saw Kamala Harris unable to mobilize enthusiasm resulting in her loss of every swing state and the popular vote. The liberal media, lying about Biden's mental capabilities, now has to deal with the repercussions of misleading the public. MSNBC's primetime viewership plummeted by 53% over the past few months, leaving the network's future in question.

As Joe Biden's presidency limps towards the finish line, many question who has been running the country over the past four years. While some within the Democratic Party are looking to evolve to address the concerns of Americans and work with Donald Trump, there remains a significant faction that attacks anyone who questions the party's direction and agenda. This tension has sparked curiosity among young Coloradanssteering their attention towards what the Republican Party has to offer.

As Donald Trump racks up the wins while Democrats struggle, the Republican Party is the place to be for those seeking to align with winning and success.

And being cool.

Tourist Dies, While Mayor Denies

Last weekend, a tragic incident unfolded on Denver's 16th Street Mall where four individuals were stabbed, resulting in the death of two victims, one of whom was a visiting flight attendant. Rather than acknowledging the severity of the situation, Mayor Mike Johnston used a press conference to claim that Denver remains one of America's safest cities.

Denver's Police Force Shrinks: Mayor's Recruitment Goals Fall Short

Mayor Mike Johnston's plan to bolster Denver's police force by hiring 167 new officers in 2024 has fallen flat. Police Chief Ron Thomas admits that lowering hiring standards won't bring quality candidates, highlighting a controversial change in the recruitment process. The new entry-level test, now shorter and less comprehensive, is part of a strategy that critics argue would compromise the integrity and effectiveness of Denver's police department.

Denver's Homeless Crisis Explodes Under Democratic Leadership

Metro Denver saw a staggering 134% increase in homeless families last year despite Mayor Mike Johnston's $155 million effort to curb homelessness. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's latest report reveals a 42% surge in the city's homeless population, highlighting the failure of Democrat policies to address the crisis. This national issue, with an 18% increase in homelessness, points to broader systemic failures under the current administration's watch.

Denver's Migrant Crisis: Taxpayers Foot $356M Bill While City Leaders Deny Reality

Denver's handling of the migrant influx since December 2022 has led to a staggering $356 million in taxpayer money spent, or $7,900 per migrant. Despite city officials' earlier projections, costs have doubled, impacting schools, healthcare, and city services. Mayor Johnston's claims of safety and control are at odds with the reality of increased crime and financial strain on residents.
