Caring Ministries at Immanuel
GriefShare is a weekly video seminar featuring some of the nation’s foremost experts on grief recovery topics. Each seminar is combined with small group discussion to give you time to talk about the content of the videos and about how you are dealing with the death of your loved one. Immanuel's next GriefShare session begins Mon., Sep. 9 at 6:30 PM. Please contact Christin Hager at christinhager@gmail.com with questions.

Stephen Ministry is a system through which members of Immanuel are trained and organized to help provide confidential Christian caregiving to members of our congregation and community. This multiplies the amount of caring ministry that Immanuel can provide by giving us a whole team of skilled caregivers who are equipped to bring Christ's healing love to people who are grieving, in crisis, or experiencing other stresses in life. If you or a friend could benefit by this confidential ministry, contact one of the pastors or call our referrals coordinator, Sue Marvel, at 630-844-6562.

Welcome Mrs. Kleven!
We are very pleased to announce that Immanuel’s new orchestra director is Mrs. Stephanie Kleven. She graduated magna cum laude from Bradley University with a music degree in viola performance. She has served as principal violist of the West Hartford Symphony, the Wheaton Symphony, and the Bradley University Symphony. She’s shared the stage with many notable musicians, including members of the Chicago Lyric Opera and the New York Philharmonic, and she has even had the opportunity to perform for the Pope. She has high expectations for her students, yet she makes lessons fun and engaging. Parents initial reactions upon meeting her at our activities fair have been very positive. Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Kleven to Immanuel!
