An Enhanced Experience for Our Members

The ASHE Staff is excited to unveil our new website experience, designed to enhance the membership journey as we look ahead to our 50th Annual Conference this November.


This strategic upgrade introduces several improvements that aim to streamline your interactions with ASHE, provide better access to resources, and offer a more user-friendly experience for both members and staff.

Log in, Update Your Profile, and Check out the New Website

If you are receiving this email, you're already in the new system. Go to www.ashe.ws, click "Log In" on the top right corner, enter this email address (office@ashe.ws), and set up your new account.


We encourage you to log in today with your email (office@ashe.ws), set up a new password, and update your member details through the Member Compass, the new member portal.

Here’s What’s New with the ASHE Website:

  • Improved accessibility across the website, delivering a more cohesive user experience and clearer website navigation.


  • A simplified login process using your email instead of a separate username for easier access.


  • A streamlined membership renewal process for current members with less of your time required. No more going in to renew your membership; we'll automatically renew your membership 30 days before your expiration date and send you an invoice.
  • Want to make renewal easier for yourself? Set up auto pay. You can add your credit card or ACH information to have your membership automatically charged each year. We'll let you know 30 days before your membership expires and charge you five days before your membership expires.


  • Easier event registration with only three steps, plus the ability to register for multiple events at once through a "cart" function.


  • Improved options to pay including with a credit card, ACH, or invoice. Paying an invoice is now easier with the ability to forward an invoice to others who can now can pay without logging in to the websitesimply forward them your invoice email.


  • Upgraded Leadership Volunteer recognition with member photos and profiles listed for various committees and volunteer roles throughout the website.


  • Enhanced member connections with ability to link individual members by Institution or Organization, plus more inclusive profile options with gender and race fields now available as free-text field to be more encompassing.

  • The Higher Education Program Directory, which has been coordinated by CAHEP since 1997, will have a refreshed look, better search capability, and the ability for Program Coordinators to update their program's information in real-time. ASHE Assistant Director for Membership Erin M. Satterwhite-David will be in touch with Program Coordinators soon with more information.


  • More webpages including more information about the 50th Annual Conference, past conferences, and more.

Thanks for your patience and feedback. The ASHE Staff has been working on this project for about 18 months, with the transition to the new system beginning in August 2024. We've worked hard to get things updated, but we recognize there may be some errors along the way.

Website Transition Office Hours

To help you navigate the updated system, the ASHE Staff is offering virtual drop-in office hours on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, January 29, 10:00am – 11:00am Mountain/Denver Time, Access via Zoom
  • Wednesday, February 12, 2:30 – 3:30pm Mountain/Denver Time, Access via Zoom

These sessions are an opportunity for you to connect directly with our staff for personalized assistance. Whether you need help logging into your new account portal, the 'Member Compass,' or have questions about the updated website, we’re here to support you.
