Thanks to everyone for the warm welcome since I joined The Discovery Center family in January. It has been a pleasure getting to meet and work with everyone. As this school year and fiscal year are coming to an end, I wanted to take a moment to personally thank our volunteers. The Discovery Center wouldn’t be the success it is without your generous time and dedication to the organization.

As noted above, Dr. Dick Elsley recently stepped down as the organizer and force-of-nature behind the Science Speaker Series, but the show and series must and will go on!

Celebrating 25 Years!

This is the Discovery Center’s 25 th year of piquing curiosity, spreading science, promoting education, and having fun! This anniversary represents countless hours and a mind-boggling amount of effort by an extraordinary collection of volunteers. We will be commemorating this milestone in a variety of ways, including a special event to celebrate where we’ve been and support where we’re going. Please stay tuned for more details.
