Get Kids Excited about STEM Education and Careers!
Only Days Away: Saturday, October 26, 2019

The North Bay Science Discovery Day is FREE (including parking)! See you at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa!

Over 130 activities this year! More than ever before. Lots of new exhibits and returns of many favorites.

Many thanks to our sponsors and partners! They are the reason the North Bay Science Discovery Day is free to all. This event could not take place without them!
COMMITTEE MEMBERS

The Volunteer Organizing Committee is a collection of fun and exciting people. Patty Alushin is a retired CVS pharmacist, and she has brought us incredible energy. As well as doing outreach such as the SpaceFest and the Wings Over Wine Country, she contacts the schools and organizes the information flow. Patty works hard to minimize the use of paper by providing a special e-newsletter for educators as well as using PeachJar for notices to parents.
FEATURED EXHIBITOR

The Buck Institute for Research on Aging was responsible for getting us started and has been faithfully by our side for nine years! Every year they bring the popular exhibit making instant yummy ice cream with liquid nitrogen. Thanks to Claire Spafford, the special educator scientist at the Buck, who organizes it!
