Farmer Veteran Coalition Offering Mental Health Awareness Project on Suicide Prevention Training

The Farmer Veteran Coalition (FVC) is now offering free virtual FVC Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) suicide prevention training sessions in October. This training is for FVC members, their families, and members of the agricultural community that work with Veterans about mental health topics. For many people QPR is a very accessible way to receive an introduction to suicide prevention.

Question, persuade, and refer are 3 simple steps anyone can learn to help save a life from suicide. Just as people trained in CPR and the Heimlich Maneuver help save thousands of lives each year, people trained in QPR learn how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.
