Dear 8th Grade HVS Families,


Hello, my name is Mrs. Thompson, 8th grade teacher in charge of the Disneyland trip this year! Please review all of the important details below to ensure you don’t miss a deadline or trip requirement. 

Looking forward to celebrating the culmination of 8th grade with these great students!


💳 Ticket Information

  • ASB Works Ticket Link: Click Here 
  • DEADLINE OF 3/7 (No Exceptions)
  • Check Details:
  • Make check payable to: HBCSD Student Funds
  • Add to memo line: Student Name and ID #
  • Drop off check to front office by DEADLINE OF 3/7 (No Exceptions)
  • Scholarship Assistance: If you require a scholarship, please email AMontoya@hbcsd.org ASAP. 


📅 Trip Details

  • Date: Wednesday, March 12th
  • Student Arrival at HVS: By 8:15 A.M; please check in with homeroom.
  • Bus Departure Time: 8:30 A.M
  • Bus Return Time: No Later Than 8:30 P.M. (Ms. Bledsoe will send an email when we depart the park and when we are off the freeway headed to the school.)


📢 Important Reminders

  • Permission Slips: Sent home on 1/31 and are due back no later than 3/5 (NEXT WEEK!)
  • Cell Phones: Optional - students may bring and use their device appropriately. (The school is not liable for lost, damaged, or stolen devices.)

  • Service Points and Citizenship:
  • Students are required to have: 
  • Satisfactory Citizenship: Students cannot have more than 2 Ns or any Us for all classes by 3/5.
  • 7 Service Points by 3/5.
  • In Good Standing with Administration (Referrals + Discipline Infractions Considered)
  • No Out of School Suspensions
  • Suggestions of What To Bring:
  • Money for food/souvenirs
  • Appropriate walking shoes
  • Appropriate attire including a jacket (Consider the weather)
  • Any bag subject to Disneyland policy.
  • Lunch:
  • Students may pack a lunch or bring money to purchase food. (No glass containers allowed in the park)
  • Please reach out to Ms. Thompson, if your student requires lunch to be provided

  • Any student who fails to comply with the above rules and expectations will be sent home and the parent/guardian will be responsible for transportation.

Travel to Disneyland

Students must remain seated and follow all bus rules.




9:40 - 10:00



Arrival at Disneyland

Tickets distributed.


Meeting location for departure: Light posts in front of the park at

6:00 P.M.


10:00 - 6:00


Free Time in the Park

Students remain in Disneyland Park; no park hopping permitted.


6:15 - 6:45


Check-in & Walk to Shuttle

Students must arrive on time at the meeting location for preliminary attendance.

6:45 - 7:00

Shuttle to Bus & Final Attendance

Students transported back to the bus parking area.

7:00 - 8:00

Return to Valley & Dismissal

Buses return to Valley.
