On Nov. 11 over 150 Disneyland Resort cast members representing all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces celebrated Veterans Day on Main Street, U.S.A. with a special flag ceremony.

Disneyland Resort Cast Members Enjoy Holiday Cheer with “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade Preview

Twinkling lights, a winter chill, a snowcapped Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle and 4,000 cast members set the scene for the perfect kickoff to the holiday season with the cast preview of the beloved “A Christmas Fantasy” Parade. Cast members lined the streets on Nov. 9 filled with holiday cheer, decked head to toe in their most festive holiday gear.

Disney Cast Unite for Advanced Screenings of ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever’

Ahead of the launch of the highly anticipated sequel, "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" Disneyland Resort cast members in the Black BERGs (Business Employee Resource Groups) assembled in true superhero fashion to enjoy an advanced screening of the film. Cast members lifted their Wakanda salutes in solidarity as the theaters filled with cast dressed in their Black Panther best.

Launching a Disney Family Legacy

Julia Contreras, an executive housekeeper at Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel, is the third generation of a cast member family legacy. Her grandfather, John Surak, started the legacy after serving in the U.S. Marine Corps as a cast member who helped build the iconic standing rocket in Tomorrowland. John instilled the family tradition of watching the Main Street, U.S.A flag retreat. Julia joined the special Veterans Day flag retreat in honor of her grandfather and gives back to the Veteran community as a volunteer chaplain for the Riverside Police Department.
