The River War: Churchill at War on the Nile
– Live webcast this Thursday –

Dear Friend,

Please join us for a special Churchill This Day webcast this Thursday, April 1 at 12 noon CDT. Dr. James W. Muller will be our guest for a virtual discussion about Winston Churchill's two-volume edition of The River War: An Historical Account of the Reconquest of the Soudan (1899).

Muller, a professor of Political Science at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, has studied The River War for over 30 years. On April 5, St. Augustine Press is releasing Muller's definitive, annotated version described by Andrew Roberts in the Wall Street Journal as "a triumph."

This free program will be streamed live on ANCM's website, YouTube, and Facebook; registration is not required. This webcast is made possible by the Edwin Malloy Jr. Endowment for America's National Churchill Museum.
Thanks to all who joined our virtual 75th Anniversary commemoration of Churchill's "Sinews of Peace" ("Iron Curtain") speech on March 5-6. If you missed it or would like to rewatch the program, check out the full replay.
