Dr. Kierra Crago-Schneider


as she presents an overview of life in the DP camps, including their locations, how they were organized, daily activities,

and cultural aspects.

Dr. Crago-Schneider is Campus Outreach Program Officer at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, a position she has held since 2019. Her research focuses on the relationships formed between Holocaust survivors living in Germany, American occupiers, international aid workers, and Germans from 1945–1957. See her full bio.

You're Invited to Submit Your Photos
We invite Gen After members to submit photos of their relatives taken during their time in the DP camps, along with a sentence identifying the individuals, where they were from, and which DP camp(s) they were in after the war. A slide show of these photos and information will appear at the beginning and again at the end of the program.
