Greetings!
 | | the finished quilt on the wall |
After months of hard work by the Quilting Aficionados (Cheryl Olson and Donna Hoobs of Madison, Wisconsin) we have a gorgeous worker cooperative quilt.
Enter to win the opportunity to display the quilt for the next 2 years!
Our quilt has squares from all 25 worker cooperatives who contributed to it. The 7 Cooperative Principles are hand-stitched around the edges, and the cooperative twin pines logo is part of the stitch design. It measures 80 inches wide by 60 inches tall.

Quilting has a long history of connection to social movements. We are so proud to join this tradition with our quilt: a symbol of our cooperative community, a movement resource, and a work of art. The quilt is also a fundraiser. At the conference next week, we will raffle off the opportunity to display the quilt for the next two years. Tickets are $5. We're encouraging workplaces to buy 20 tickets for $100. We will raffle the quilt when we have raised $5,000. Help us do it!
Buy tickets online at www.usworker.coop/donate and write "Quilt tickets" in the memo, or mail us a check and your request. Help us support our amazing federation and enter to win the chance to display this beautiful quilt at your cooperative. Enter to win by Saturday, June 23, 2012 !
Thank you!
