"At the Berrien Springs competition, the Average Joes robotics team handled a lot of adversity. Through wiring issues and mechanical struggles, we learned a lot. Yet, by the end of the event the robot was highly functioning, and was even picked for the #2 alliance. We battled through the playoffs, nearly beating the #1 alliance, and finally placing third. Additionally, we won the autonomous award for our highly functioning automatic features and autonomous period program. We plan to carry this momentum into our next event, the Kentwood district competition, and come back stronger."
