District 1-F Convention April 6-8; Register Now
Hello my fellow Lions,

It is just a little over a month before the District 1-F Lions Convention, which will be held April 6, 7 and 8 at the Renaissance Hotel, 933 Skokie Blvd., Northbrook. The hotel is located on Skokie Highway (Route 41), just south of Dundee Road.

For convention information, please contact Lion Shelly Gallagher at (847) 393-5636, the District 1-F website or your Zone Chair.

We have made some big changes, and added many exciting things that should be of interest to all Lions in District 1-F. But the deadline date to register is fast approaching: March 15th. Please join us for a different experience at our District 1-F Convention.

On another note, the district needs your help. We are looking for some of our great Lions to step up and be an active part of the district. There are several positions that need to be filled. To learn more, please contact Lion Kathleen Marusich, 1st Vice District Governor, or anyone on the District 1-F Cabinet. Find out how you could be of help to your District.

I would like to wish you all a happy St Patrick's Day and enjoy the nice spring weather that is coming. Soon we will be breaking out our short sleeve shirts and shorts and loving the warm sun and the grass turning green. Have a great March, and I hope to see you as I continue to visit clubs in District 1-F as your governor.

Yours in Lionism,
Lion Alan J. Barack
Governor District 1-F

Part of the proceeds from the Trivia For A Cause event will be donated to the Food 4 Thought Program, which is run through the local school district 54 foundation. Schools that wish to offer breakfast programs for their students must raise money on their own to do so.

For more information, see the Trivia For A Cause flyer , or visit www.schaumburgrotary.org .
