New ESD20 Innovation Center
|
|
The District is very proud to open the new
"Greenbrook Innovation Center" to the students, families, and school community! The Greenbrook Library underwent extensive renovations this summer to create an exciting future-ready learning space that will ignite and inspire the students as they explore, learn, and innovate new ideas. The District is looking to bring similar spaces to the other D20 schools in the future as well.
The Innovation Center features independent and collaborative learning spaces for students, mobile and comfortable furniture, small and large enclosed group working rooms, a state-of-the-art makerspace, and a presentation area with a video wall. Library and media resources will continue to be available in addition to many new enhancements, including engaging new technology such as green screen for creative video-making, 3D printing, robotics, electronic circuits, and much more!
Greenbrook students were amazed and excited as they toured the space on the first day of school. Each classroom will have regular use of the Innovation Center throughout the school year.
The
Grand Opening and Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony for the Innovation Center will take place at the start of Greenbrook's Curriculum Night on Wednesday, September 18th at 6:00 pm.
