Cypress Harbor Signs: Thank you to J. Michael Brown and Jack Field for repairing the stucco, repainting and adding lighting to the Cypress Harbor neighborhood entryway signs.

Homeless Outreach: Homelessness is an ongoing reality in South Florida. I’m committed to doing whatever I can to help. Recently, I spent a morning providing outreach with one of the 3 BSO deputies on the BSO Homeless Outreach Team (HOT). Our City also has a Social Services Coordinator who facilitates community court and helps the homeless access important services like housing assistance.

Commission Highlights

The Commission is reviewing detailed plans and cost estimates for the McNab Road streetscape and bridge G.O. Bond project

  • The streetscape work is $17mm
  • The new bridge is $7mm. This includes a 4' increase in the height of the bridge
  • The project is significantly over the original $12mm budget. The Commission will decide how to proceed
  • We will discuss this project at my community meeting on Wednesday, February 28th


A new youth travel baseball program is coming to Pompano Beach. The commission approved the contract 6-0

  • The organization will start travel teams for multiple age groups. Stay tuned for more details
  • Check out the city's youth sports programs
