Your 2018/2019 District Leadership Team
On April 27, at the District Council Meeting, the District Leadership Team was elected for the upcoming Toastmasters year.

John Bauer DTM (outgoing District 42 Director) welcomed your incoming District Leaders at the District Directors Banquet with the Induction Ceremony: Christina Kruis (Club Growth Director), Dunstant Taylor DTM (Program Quality Director), and Catherine Secundiak DTM (District Director). Congratulations!
Circle of Gold
Over 200 people attended the International Speech contest at the District 42 Convention. All of the contestants and over half of the audience stood up when our Program Quality Director, Catherine Secundiak said, “Please stand up if you have been involved in Circle of Gold as a contestant, feedback team or participant.” What a powerful way to demonstrate the impact of Circle of Gold peer mentoring in the Toastmaster community.

All through the weekend, we heard comments like “this was the best contest yet”, “the speakers were amazing”, and “COG is helping me to become a better speaker, evaluator and leader.”

This is truly “friends helping friends succeed.”
