We are so impressed at how quickly and efficiently clubs adjusted to the new online meeting format. New agenda roles have been created, cameras are at eye level (not looking at a ceiling light), lighting is much improved and participation has grown greatly. Presently we have over
60 Toastmasters clubs listed on our website.
Please contact Marcy Field, our PRM (
Public Relations Manager
) if you are not on this list. We are very grateful to our online team who have supported these clubs and scheduled them meeting times on our District Zoom accounts. Fantastic job!

In less than three weeks our
District 42 Tech Team
went into action: scheduling Zoom meetings, creating break out rooms, writing procedures for online contest, training judges and officials, coaching sessions for participants, and much more. The wisdom, the sharing and the execution of our online contests was a brilliant demonstration of teamwork and achieving the unthinkable. These were brand new roles created for District 42 and we are extremely appreciative of their hard work. Their willingness to step forward and lead us through these contest weeks is very commendable. A huge thank you to our

Our Dynamic Club – Dynamically Speaking has been rocking the Zoom Meeting world! We have gone from 14 to 18 to 24 participants in our weekly meetings. In addition, we have 2 new members as a result of Zoom Meetings. This past meeting, we had 5 guests! They included former members of our club, a former member of another club, and 2 members from out of the area – Claresholm and Red Deer! We are all excited about this new technology and the ability to continue to meet and grow. Our members and guests enjoy self introduction, Table Topics and prepared speeches! We record our prepared speeches through Zoom – as is our habit – and the video is then shared with the member for their personal growth. With their permission it is then published on our club YouTube channel. We are having so much fun!!! We are even starting optional Educational Evenings for our members and guests who want more learning opportunities! Love this new freedom!
