Membership Dues are Due!
Club Dues Deadline: October 1
Toastmasters International collects member dues from clubs twice a year. The first dues collection period is due October 1.
Club Treasurers, here are some great tips for making the dues collection process a little easier:
  • Emphasize the importance of paying dues on time – Start reminding club members as early as possible and reinforce the benefits of the Toastmasters program. If a member is not paid by their club treasurer as of Oct 1, it will affect their eligibility to compete in the Fall Speech Contests, there is no longer a grace period.

  • Leverage technology to collect payments – Set up your club to accept e-transfers. If your club uses a Free ToastHost website, the club treasurer can email dues invoices, keep track of who has paid with the payment method used, and follow up with those who haven’t paid yet.

  • Engage your entire officer team and club in the dues renewals process and it’ll go more quickly than ever before. Let them know about the club recognition associated with paying dues on time – Distinguished Club Program Goal #9 and Club Member Retention Award. Issue the challenge to the club and watch them rise to the occasion.
Message from your District Director!

Happy Viewing!

Peter Francis Award – Division B District 42
Each year Division B Toastmasters recognizes one of our own who demonstrates, by example, the most essential quality of leadership: effective communication skills. During the Division B Award Luncheon on Saturday, December 1, we will be presenting the “Of the Year” awards including Toastmaster, Rookie, Public Relations and President. We will also be presenting the Peter Francis Award.   Nomination information is attached

Is there someone who has made a continued long term contribution or a single profound individual effort involving a large number of people?    If she or he is a current or past Division B Toastmaster, resides in Division B, is NOT a past recipient of this award, and is NOT a current District Officer (District Officers include Division B Director and Area Directors), show your appreciation for this person's efforts, and nominate them. The Award will be presented at the Awards Luncheon at Division B Day on December 1, 2018.
There is NO official nomination form and  nomination information can be downloaded by clicking on the document below . All you need to do is write a biography (NO more than three pages) which provides the supporting information on why your Club feels the nominee deserves recognition. The Division B Director must receive your nomination  by noon on Friday, November 16 . Email to .
