The Fiscal Year 2023 Capital Budget is now available on the County website. When the Operating Budget is finalized and posted in mid-April, the link on that same web page will be updated. The County Executive will formally present his proposed budget to the Council before the Legislative Public Hearing on Monday, April 18.

Several Council hearings and work sessions are scheduled. The hearings are your opportunity to let the Council hear your opinion on the budget. Sign up here to testify and select the appropriate session from the list. If you are not able to participate in one of the scheduled hearings, you may submit written testimony by email. A full list of budget dates is listed below for reference. Be sure to check the online calendar for adjustments to dates and times.

Project: Church of the Resurrection

Date/Time: April 28, 2022 at 6:00 pm

Location: Church Hall at the Church of the Resurrection; 3165 Paulskirk Dr., Ellicott City

Purpose: To modify the previously approved conditional use to authorize the use of a tent as temporary meeting space.

Applications for the Howard County Police Department 2022 HCPD youth summer programs are due on April 15. For more information visit https://www.howardcountymd.gov/police/youth-programs.

The planned replacement of the bridge deck on MD 94 (Woodbine Road) over I-70 in Lisbon is underway. The above link to the project will provide additional details as this project progresses.

Congratulations to the Mount Hebron High School Economics Team for another first place win in the 2022 Harvard Economics Challenge! Seniors Saniya Mahate and John Michaels, and juniors David and Sam Lieman, defeated Mounds View High School in the semifinals and Philips Exeter Academy in the finals.
