From the Desk of the District Director

We are excited to start the new year with a fresh team, new officers, and our valued members. We have much to look forward to. As we all plan for the 2022-2023 Toastmasters Year, remember that there is much to learn, achieve, and give. This year look forward to more hybrid meetings. Look forward to more member support. Look forward to helpful resources. Look forward to building better connections.

What is your Toastmasters New Year's Resolution? Will it be to integrate Pathway into our work and personal lives? Will it be to finish that project for DTM? Will it be to mentor a member that needs your help? Will it be to volunteer and become an Area Director? We still have openings. Will you decide that this is your year to compete in a contest or start the Accredited Speaker Program? Whatever you plan to do, stay focused, stay positive, and connect with others.

I have a list of what I hope District 55 will achieve. I hope to help Improve the Human Connection among us while serving as District Director. Email me at livyamitchell@gmail.com. I would be elated to hear from you.

Have a spectacular year District 55.
