Anaheim City Council Member
Dear District 6 Neighbors and Friends,

Happy November! I hope you had an enjoyable and safe Halloween weekend.

This past month brought many new, exciting events to the City of Anaheim and November has a lot more in store!
Supporting the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit
In September I had the honor of donating tickets to the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit out of Camp Pendleton so that some of our men and women in uniform could enjoy America’s pastime and see our very own Angels.

I am constantly reminded of how lucky we are to be so near to the active military community and how Anaheim is strengthened by their example and dedication to serving our country.

Anaheim Hills Community Town Hall November 15th

The Anaheim Hills Community Council is hosting a Town Hall to discuss the unique local issues focused on Public Safety. I will be joined by Anaheim Mayor Harry Sidhu, Anaheim Chief of Police Jorge Cisneros, and Anaheim Fire Chief Pat Russell to answer all your questions about the public safety challenges we face in Anaheim Hills. I would love to see you there and hear your input and feedback on the most pressing issues we need to address to better serve the people of Anaheim Hills.
Undergrounding Utility Lines on Santa Ana Canyon
The undergrounding on Santa Ana Canyon Road, between Lakeview Avenue and Imperial Highway; and the segment on Royal Oak Road, from north of Santa Ana Canyon Road to Nohl Ranch Road, is currently in construction. This project will address major capacity and reliability issues with the existing pole lines currently installed along steep terrain and help beautify our community. Construction is planned for completion in 2022.

An Orange County Superior Court Judge recently ruled what we knew all along: that Disney is not receiving a public subsidy from the City of Anaheim.
