Judith Snow Award Winners

We’re thrilled to celebrate the four middle school students who have been honored with the prestigious 2025 Judith L. Snow Ethical Leadership Award.


This year’s recipients are Owen Hanba and Lucy Harris from Lincoln Middle School, and Giuliana Madura and Hafsa Hakeem from Emerson Middle School.


The award recognizes students who demonstrate outstanding ethical leadership through their actions, values, and commitment to making a positive impact in their schools and communities. All 8th-grade students are eligible for the award.

Communications Team Wins National Honors

We are incredibly proud that our communications staff has been honored with several national awards from the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). 


D64 won a Golden Achievement Award for the work put together for the referendum informational campaign. This award recognizes outstanding, strategic work in all aspects of school public relations, communication, marketing, and engagement.


Additionally, we won four Publication & Digital Media Excellence Awards, which recognize outstanding tactical materials that exemplify the impactful and innovative work shaping the future of school communication:



Art & Ice Cream

Congratulations to the students selected to represent Emerson at Triple Scoop'd Ice Cream Shop! This art will be on display now until the middle of September. Stop by and check out the amazing artwork as you eat an ice cream cone!

Summer Reading Programs
