Congrats To The Class of 2025

We had the pleasure of celebrating our 8th Graders at promotion ceremonies this week at Maine East High School. We're so proud of everybody! Our students at Emerson and Lincoln are now poised for the next part in their stories and are ready to embrace new challenges and opportunities.

Emerson 8th Grader Maya Nabil addressed the crowd, reflecting on her middle school years. “Time. It’s something you never seem to have enough of, yet somehow here we are at the end of our middle school journey, wondering how it flew by so fast,” said Nabil.

“Let’s walk into the next chapter of our lives and not just as graduates but as someone who has grown from who they were just a few years ago. Today isn’t just an ending. It’s the beginning of something even greater. Remember, together we are Emerson!”

“It’s hard to believe that three years ago we were walking through the 6th-grade doors without a clue as to what to expect. Wondering and worrying about our locker codes, our new teachers, and new classes, but now all these things come as second nature to us,” said Lincoln 8th Grader Nicholas Malling.

“Even though today is the end of our years here at Lincoln, that doesn’t mean that today is about our goodbyes. Today is a day to celebrate our accomplishments and open our arms to the future. Every single one of us has worked so hard to get this far, and I know we’re all ready for what comes next,” said Malling.
