Tiger Trot At Roosevelt

The annual Tiger Trot is a beautiful experience for the entire Roosevelt community, and the Tigers had a blast this afternoon! Students raced around the track as they were cheered on by dozens of their family, friends, and neighbors!

Over 200 volunteers participated in the PTO-sponsored event to ensure our students had an awesome time during the school-wide fundraiser. The Tiger Trot proceeds will be used to continue improvements around the school, including enhancing the library and providing student and classroom resources.

Way to go, Roosevelt! Thank you to everyone for making this awesome event happen.

Carpenter's Track-A-Thon

Carpenter students brought their A-game to the 2024 Track-A-Thon! Every grade hit the field, running their hearts out to support the school. With the sun shining bright and the Carpenter PTO backing the event, it was an absolute blast.

On the turns and straightaways, cheer sections gave the Carpenter Cougars a boost as they tried to get as many laps in as possible before the final horn sounded.

It was a terrific day spent outside raising money and promoting healthy living at the 17th annual TAT. A huge thank you to all for making this amazing event happen!

Important Health Deadlines

Important Health Deadlines for Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 6th Grade, or those new to D64:

The state deadline for submitting proof of vaccination, physical exams, and eye exams is quickly approaching on Tuesday, October 15th. Due to the holiday on October 14th, health forms must be uploaded to PowerSchool by 3 pm on Friday, October 11th. The building nurses have sent numerous communications home to those currently missing the required information or forms. Please review your child’s Forms/Health Office Document Submission section of PowerSchool to ensure you’ve uploaded everything needed.  Please submit your forms ASAP so the school nurse can review them. Proof of vaccination and a physical exam dated after 8/14/23 is required. Please make sure you’ve answered all questions in the parent health history section and signed and dated it before uploading. Kindergarten students are also required to submit an eye exam from an optometrist/ophthalmologist.

Students not compliant with health form requirements will be excluded from school beginning October 15th.

Grade level specific requirements and copies of the forms, along with instructions for uploading forms, can be found on the health services website: https://www.d64.org/health-services/
