District 67 COVID-19 Dashboard Update
The District 67 COVID-19 Dashboard has been updated for the week as of March 28, 2021, to reflect the latest information from our schools and local health departments. The Lake County Health Department (LCHD) has moved the School Decision Dashboard to the main COVID-19 Data Hub and made changes to several graphics.

Our internal metrics look relatively good following Spring Break and we hope to see this trend continue! THANK YOU!

Unfortunately, all external indicators have increased over the past 2 weeks. As of April 1, the incidence rate for Lake County is 11.5 per 100,000. The incidence rate for the 60045 zip code is 13.52 per 100,000. As of April 1, the seven-day rolling average for Lake County from the CDC for new cases is 94.47 percent and the test positivity rate is 3.72 percent.

Additionally, there has been a 67% increase in new hospital admissions according to the CDC; and the youth incidence rate for children ages 14-18 is at 12.43 percent in Lake County. Youth incidence rates for children ages 13 and younger range from 5.20-6.03 percent.

Voluntary COVID-19 Testing Registration
Weekly voluntary COVID-19 testing continues at all of our schools. Registration is required for voluntary COVID-19 testing.

Self-Certification Changes
The LCHD published an updated COVID-19 School Toolkit on March 24. Three symptoms have been removed from the exclusion list- abdominal pain, new congestion/runny nose, and nausea. The daily screener has been changed as of April 1. If you do not see the updated questions when filling out the screener, please refresh your link.
