Scholastic Books
The Foundation is so happy to have partnered with the Spencer Loomis PTO Book Fair Committee to provide $10,000 worth of Scholastic books to classroom libraries at ALL 5 D95 elementary schools! After purchasing a book for every Pre K-5 student last summer, the Foundation earned Scholastic Dollars to be able to then share with all elementary schools. Each elementary school was allocated a certain amount based on its projected enrollment next year, and was asked to choose Scholastic books related to diversity, equity and inclusion for use in classroom libraries. We are thrilled to announce this initiative this month, as April is Celebrate Diversity month!
NEW books are in your classroom libraries! #CelebrateDiversityMonth
