The mission of the District 95 Educational Foundation is to raise funds and provide resources for additional innovations that empower all learners to achieve personal excellence.

SAVE THE DATE! A fun-filled and memorable evening awaits you and your special little someone on Saturday, February 8th, 5-8pm! Mark your calendar now. Don’t miss this popular parent and child date night which includes dinner, dancing, professional photos, raffle baskets and more.  The event will be held at May Whitney Elementary School. Tickets will be available for purchase online before winter break. 
Foundation Insight- Did you know...
SEL Books Grant
The Foundation is pleased to award a grant of $8,000 to purchase Social Emotional Learning (SEL) books for K-2 classrooms at ALL five elementary schools, as well as early childhood. The grant stemmed from a grant request from Isaac Fox 1st grade teacher Andrea Behm. Mrs. Behm will work closely with Dr. Susan Coleman, Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, along with various SEL District leaders, to implement the grant.
What you MUST know when your child turns 18
On November 12 the Foundation co-hosted a VERY informative workshop, "What You MUST Know When Your Child Turns 18" with the Ela Area Public Library. The workshop was presented by Shire Law Group, PC. To see key slides from the presentation, click HERE.
9th Annual Gala- March 7
The Foundation's 9th Annual Fundraising Gala is on Saturday, March 7, at Concorde Banquets. If you would like to help plan this fun event, please contact Erica at foundation@lz95.org.
Cultural Diversity Fair
The Foundation is sponsoring its first Cultural Diversity Fair on April 26 at the Foglia YMCA. This family friendly event will celebrate the diverse cultures in District 95. It will create a mutli-faceted experience that includes informational booths, cultural performances, and food samplings. We need community members to volunteer and sign- up to put together a booth at the event.
