Lincoln 5th Grade Production of "The Ever After - A Musical" Opens January 27
All are invited to attend Abraham Lincoln School's 5
th Grade production of "The Ever After- A Musical"! This student production made possible by the Lincoln PTA centers around a wacky talk show where traditional fairy tale characters who have been estranged for 20 years attempt to reconcile on live television. From Snow White and the Evil Queen to Cinderella and her middle-aged Ugly Stepsisters, this TV show parody is punctuated by questions from obnoxious studio audience members and hilarious infomercials for fairy tale-related products. Complete with a trash-talking clairvoyant mirror, an unfortunate prince who is turning slowly back into a frog and many other wacky fractured fairy tale bits, this is a terrific show for all ages! The show has been directed by Jared Titus and Stephanie Hansen from Bright Lights Theater and Sunshine Dance Studio!

The show hits the stage on Saturday, January 27th at 5 p.m. and Sunday January 28th at 1 p.m.at Hadley Junior High (240 Hawthorne Boulevard). Tickets are available at the door for a suggested donation of $5 each.

Hadley Holiday Store
In December Hadley held its 6th Annual Holiday Store. Over 200 students had an opportunity to pick out a holiday gift and have it wrapped for their mom. The Hadley Holiday Store, organized by Hadley counselor Sharon Dunham, began as a small program for students living in single parent households and has grown in size and scope each year due to the increased need in the Hadley community. Thanks to Hadley staff, parents, school board members, and Karen Winter for donating gifts, gift cards, wrapping supplies, and volunteering to run the store.
