Partnership Proposal to the Village of Glen Ellyn and Park District
Over the past few months, District 41 has been engaged in a number of conversations with different school districts, local organizations, the Village of Glen Ellyn, and the Glen Ellyn Park District to determine if there are any opportunities to partner related to District 41 space needs.

Discussions with the Village of Glen Ellyn and the Park District focused on the North Wing of the Park District's Spring Avenue Recreation Center for District 41's Early Childhood ("EC")/Preschool Program (currently six classrooms at Forest Glen Elementary School). The Park District offices currently located at Spring Avenue would then move to the area of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center formerly occupied by the Glen Ellyn Police Department.

At the Board of Education's direction, District 41 submitted an initial proposal to the Village and the Park District earlier this week.

We Need to Hear Your Voice! Survey Starts November 15
Surveys are incredibly important in our District.
Survey data is used to evaluate, plan and make decisions about the future. Every year, the State of Illinois administers a survey called 5Essentials. Starting on November 15, please take the 5Essentials parent survey and let us know about your experiences with District 41. The District will only receive results to the survey if over 20 percent of parents respond and 50 percent of teachers respond from each school. Thank you in advance!

Starting on November 15:  Please Click Here and select the
PARENT survey to begin.

Career Fair at Hadley
Last week, Hadley 7th grade students participated in a career fair. Computer teacher, Kelly Lewis, partners every year with Junior Achievement to bring this program to Hadley. A huge thank you to the following D41 parents and community members who volunteered to share their careers with Hadley students: Jared Bruns, Judith Cipollari, Dr. Kelley Kalinich, Andrea Maciejewski, Diane McGinley, Steve Norvid, Tayyaba Syed, Allison VanDerVeen, Christine White, and Evan Wright.
