MINOR HOME REPAIR PROGRAM
The Housing and Community Development Department is pleased to announce the Minor Critical Emergency Home Repair Program.  The program intends to assist about 200 low-income elderly or disabled households by providing minor home repairs to alleviate life, health or safety hazards.

Repairs including roofing, plumbing, electrical and heating system replacements. Specific repair services will be determined based on condition of the home, cost of the repairs and availability of the funds.

     SUMMER MEALS PROGRAM  
Free, nutritious meals are available for youth between the ages of 1 and 18. No registration is required. You merely need to go to a participating location near you! The lunches are prepared and delivered daily (while supplies last) based on USDA standards.

HOUSTON FURNITURE BANK
The Houston Furniture Bank is in need of large furniture items (sofa, coffee tables, etc.) to help  150 families who were effected by the recent flooding and had to leave their homes for temporary housi ng.
