Putting Books in the Hands of Children Who Need Books
This past Saturday at Clark Park, Council Member Cisneros hosted the fifth Build Party for her District H Little Free Library initiative. Six libraries were built for placement in the Northline area, bringing the total to 24 Little Free Libraries throughout District H. Along with the libraries, Council Member Cisneros provided each location with  $200 worth of brand new children's books, including many bilingual books. Funds were also donated from Union Pacific  to towards the purchase  of books for the libraries. The event was aided by the Lowe's team, who generously donated their time to aid the community members in constructing not only the 6  libraries at this particular event, but all 24 libraries built for Council Member Cisneros' Little Free Library initiative.
