Stakeholders Meeting on Proposed Revision to City Regulations on Congregate Living Facilities
Join Council Member Cisneros for an update from the Administration and Regulatory Affairs Department on upcoming changes to City regulations on boarding homes, lodging facilities, and alternate housing facilities on January 10th . Near Northside Harvey Relief Center
  Council Member Cisneros encourages Harvey victims to visit the new Avenue Housing Recovery Center on Fulton Street. Funded in part by the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund, the goal of the center is to get people back in their homes and to streamline the application process for assistance. The Recovery Center is holistic in approach and can provide valuable case by case assistance for getting victims back in their homes.

Come learn about the Mayor’s Office of Education from Director Juliet Stipeche and how it will ensure you have a Complete Community. FEMA At Denver Harbor Civic Club Meeting 01/09/18

Free SAT Prep Classes at MECA Starting Jan 9

Kids: Join Winter Reading Program, Win Prizes
Kids can satisfy their sweet tooth with deliciously good reading over winter break by joining the Houston Public Library’s (HPL) Winter Reading Program. R egister here  today! If they read 10 minutes a day for 10 days they’ll earn a sweet prize. Prizes will be awarded at their neighborhood library January 2 - 13, 2018.  This free program is for youth ages 0-18.
